AlKaram – La Vie En Rose
Their collection translates to “Life In Pink”, which brought all the shades of pink to life. Their florals were loud and friendly. Their cuts were flawless and fit style quotients all over. AlKaram has always kept in mind the inclusivity and diversity their brand should have, and this collection proved that there was something for everyone. Each outfit, be it for men, women or children told the story of mixing traditon with contemporary. The soft pink hues, the ruffles and the silver polka dots made this whole show aesthetically pleasing. The showstoppers, Ayeza Khan and Muneeb Butt garnered all the praise as they walked down the ramp.
Boheme By Kanwal – Gul E Nar
Inspired by gajj embroidery, Boheme used a combination of textures, colors and techniques that made their collection incredibly vibrant and elegant. Shadow work and simplistic ensembles accompanied with tones of red and maroon were at play. Their sari’s with traditional artwork and khussas put the whole room in quite a mood.
Ayesha Farook Hashwani – Mahnoor
Showcasing delicate craftsmanship and sparkle with each innovative piece from this collection, Ayesha Farook Hashwani with her bejeweled kaftaans, jumpsuits and jackets paired with harem pants closed the first day with a high note. Their wedding wear and evening wear collection fit all kinds of style quotients, as each one had minimal or boisterous embellishments. Fouzia Aman closed the show in a sunny yellowish orange silk kaftaan.
