Saira Rizwan

Saira Rizwan’s bridal couture collection titled “Aaina” featured intricate and detailed sheesha and gotta work with techniques of chevron and linear designs in hues of dominantly reds, golds, silvers and pastels; following a very royal palette with colour transformations providing us with a myriad of unique options to fall in love with. The silhouettes for the collection included contemporary modern cuts in elegant floor length gowns, paired with delicate traditional work to display a fusion of two eras.

MAHGUL

Mahgul’s “Tales of Bijin” featured a beautiful mix of color and and cuts- breaking down barriers and truly taking her brand to the next level; the designer turned it up a notch with an eclectic use of funky colors along with layering techniques. Adding some traditional pieces to her collection; we got to witness a combination fashion forward design as well as age old techniques we’ll always adore.

Sania Maskatiya

Sania Maskatiya’s boldest bridal collection to date, “DILARA”. The collection was made up of dresses both bride and groom in a dazzling array of colours, both subtle and siren, featuring heavily ornamented luxury fabrics in silhouettes that hearken to the Subcontinent’s Golden Age; blending a mild modernity to the allure of the Orient. Its peshwazes and ghararas, prince coats and sherwanis were brilliantly furnished with an elegance that’s eternal. Her splashes or bright tangerines and pinks were the highlight of the collection; adding a pop of color to every piece.

The House of Kamiar Rokni

“Golestān”, the Garden of Roses, represents a poetry of ideas. Drawing from Kamiar Rokni’s Persian heritage, “Golestān” explored the influence of Iran in Sub Continental design, playing with the diversity within femininity, from the modern to the classic, from softer to bolder expressions. Indeed, Rokni envisions modern couture as layered and multi-faceted, embracing different aspects of our nature. A designer who always catches our attention- his love for tradition definitely show’s in the detailing of his beautiful bridals
