After two fun filled days of observing an array of vibrant colors and whimsical patterns, the third day of FPW knocked everyone out of the park! The third day exhibited bridals and sherwani’s from prestigious designers such as Nomi Ansari, Huma Adnan, Amir Adnan, Saira Shakira, Zainab Chottani, The Pink Tree Company and Tena Durrani. Each illustrious name brought forth their take on the quintessential desi bridal with their signature color palettes and intricate embroideries. Nomi Ansari – Kaleidoscope

Leave it to Nomi Ansari to open up day 3 with a burst of color and shimmering mirror work in his true fashion! His collection featured a stunning array of lehenga choli’s and tailed gowns, each of which carried signature floral embroidery with a fine couture finish. His showstopper, Maya Ali, graced the runway wearing a lime green ensemble that had us all in smiles! Hats off to you, Nomi! 

Saira Shakira – Euphoria

The name of the collection is evidently synonymous with the mood we felt when we saw each outfit Grace the runway! Saira Shakira’s gorgeous ensembles were timeless and regal. Using quality fabrics such a jamawaar, silks, velvets and customized printed silks on top of organzas, this collection had the works in true SS fashion! 

Zainab Chottani – La Feé

One of the most entertaining parts of the night was seeing Zainab Chottani pull out all the stops! From her gorgeous pieces to having Asim Azhar serenade us all, it was clearly a memorable section of day 3! The color schemes ranged from shocking reds to gentle rouge, each complete with their own style of embellishing and fine cuts. All in all, Zainab Chottani stole our fashion and music obsessed hearts! 

At the top of our must have list is their perfectly pink ensemble complete with splashes of chrome yellow and oriental imagery;

From royal gold ensembles to velvety gharara’s, the closer of the night, Tena Durrani pushed the boundaries of what a quintessential  formal and bridal outfit should look like as she put forth avant garde designs and delicate embroideries. The amazing craftsmanship as well as the color schemes were clearly a winner!
