For all the brides in search of the perfect fairytale bridal out there, look no further! Recently, Shehla Chatoor transported her closest friends and fashion allies to an enchanted land where elegance and embellished bridals graced the stage. On her first solo show as a designer, Shehla Chatoor has raised the bar with her breathtaking bridals, that made a lot of us girls out there swoon!
The collection is named Nur-E-Alaleh which translates to “light from a heavenly flower.” The show was held at Farrukh Captain’s residence, one of the oldest homes in Karachi, adding a hint of quintessential charm to the ambiance. The models walked the enchanted forest, spreading their fairy dust on all of us who snapped pictures and took videos, and paused to form a perfect line-up where we could still observe our favorite bridals. The mystic was enhanced as each bridal gave a different appeal. Some were classically woven while some were uniquely fashioned. Each ensemble contained embellishments such as resham, zardozi, mukesh as well as Swarovski crystals. To pair beauty with beauty, and give the impression that each bride deserves the best, the models such as Sadaf Kanwal, Amna Baber, Areeba Habib and Alyzeh Gabol to name a few, sported the classic Sophia Webster butterfly heels to further add mystique and beauty. Whispers were exchanged from friend to friend, mother to daughter, colleague to colleague, about how enchanting and magical they felt as the show drew to a close. Shehla, we give you the loudest round of applause! Scroll down to check out the highlights!
