The year 2017 witnessed a myriad of various different footwear trends taking the world by storm- whether it was a celebrity sporting a look or a shoe we saw and had to have right off the runway designers definitely upped their shoe game this year which meant we had to make a yearly round up list of some of our favorites! The brand took the world by storm this year when they launched these highly coveted kitten heels- marked with their signature catch phrase; these beauties were on everyone’s must have list all year long!

Sophia Webster’s butterfly heel is the ultimate statement shoe- pair these bad boys with distressed denim and a crisp white shirt or dress them up with a long flowing gown; either way these bold beauties definitely had our hearts fluttering in 2017.

There’s nothing better than when comfort meets fashion; and the beginning of 2017 saw the introduction of everyone’s go to comfy heel- the Mule! Glammed up or toned down; these shoes were ideal for any occasion.

Forever one’s to set trends the Kardashian’s know how to dress to impress- Kanye West’s latest range featured a clear chunky heel and plexiglass strap; a game changer indeed!

Chunky heels were a staple in every major brands design quota this year- we loved the diversity Aldo provided in terms of color, shape and design and let’s not forget how comfortable these are!

Simmi- Fur Heels

Unsure about this trend initially; we grew to love the feathered heel! It was bold and a major throw back to the 90’s which let’s face it; everyone loved that era of fashion!

Shimmery shades of gold, silver and gun metal never go out of style- Steve Madden’s heels are extremely affordable so you know we picked up every color of these chrome pumps!

If Gianvito Rossi sets a shoe trend; we’ll surely be following en suite! The designers range of strappy velvet heels have had us in awe all year long- who says velvet can only be worn in the winter? Nay Sayers be warned!

Gucci’s detachable bow pumps are just the right amount of quirky- the label always goes all out when it comes to their accessories and these adorable booties gave us major shoe goals!

Looks like 2017 was Gucci’s year; the brand pops up on our list three times- initially shocking the fashion world with these furry little critters the design eventually grew to be a favorite amongst fashionistas.
