Natasha Kamal is rapidly making herself a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry; this time showcasing her ‘Bella Donna’ collection at Torino Fashion Week- obtaining the first place luxury award at the show! Creating understated elegant ensembles that are ideal for the sophisticated, modern woman; the designers collection was a breath of fresh air in the midst of all the largely sequenced bright looks we are used to seeing.
Using a neutral color palette including shades of beige, ivory, grey and black with splashes of plum, teal, tangerine and woodbine green. With a keen eye for detailing; Natasha incorporated aspects of Pakistani craftsmanship into each ensemble in the most subtle manner- whether adding mirror work trickling down the bodice of an ensemble or using cut-work to add dimensions to her designs ensuring each outfit was graceful with a touch of tradition!
A special shout out goes to her impeccably made silhouettes which featured an emphasis on structure and symmetry- fashioning tasteful floor length gowns; we’ve got our eyes on the tropical orange look, belted at the waist with a bow and highlighted with a thigh high slit and breezy coffee colored pants rendering this look a top spot on our summer must have’s list!
