From Schiaparelli, Giambattista Valli to Ralph and Russo and Dior- these exceptionally talented designers left us in awe after their showcase at the Paris Couture week! Be it the spell bound embellishments or dreamy silhouettes, we just could not get enough. With artsy themes and settings, the ramp was flooded with perfection. Each outfit spoke for itself making it difficult for us to choose our favourite! We still managed to pick out some exceptional outfits, have a look below:
Schiaparelli
Schiaparelli’s quirky outfits have our hearts. From sequinned lobsters to Piccasso and Rothko inspired tulles and jackets, mini’s to floor sweeping dresses this collection has got us love struck! We cannot get over the Picasso two face jacket and the sheer wine pleated dress and painted heart definitely made a statement. Adding this one of a kind creation to our lust list.
Giambattista Valli
We instantly fell in love with Giambattista’s Collection-full of feminine silhouettes and floral details! Stunning 3D flowers, leaves and green embroidery on lacey dresses, the designer wanted the models to look like pretty gardens. Pop’s of yellows and shades of pink, this collection gave us major spring vibes!
Monique Lhuillier
Monique’s breath taking collection consisted of super delicate laces and pretty pastels that set the runway on fire! We loved the flowy silhouettes with intricate details and bows-perfect for a classy day time look. A dreamy couture collection indeed! Long floor sweeping dresses are definitely making a come back.
Ralph and Russo
Ralph and Russo never fail to disappoint! They are the masters of creativity. Tulle gowns with tassels and use of stunning fabrics, this duo’s collection stunned everyone! Sonam Kapoor’s bridal showstopper look has topped our list-she looked nothing less than a regal Godess. A white embellished peplum gown with a phenomenal trail and stunning sheer veil.
Rodarte
What a serene display! Rodarte knocks it out of the park with their exaggerated head pieces made from baby’s breath! The whole place was filled with flowers used in ways that went beyond expectations! Pretty pastels, ruffled tops and breezy skirts, Rodarte left everyone speechless! Hats off to this beautiful collection.
Ellie Saab
Count on Elie Saab to make you feel like a princess! Wintery jewel tones like ruby and forest green adorned with gold sequinned embellishments and lavish embroideries, free flowing silhouettes- it was love at first sight! Stunning laces and dramatic sleeves gave the outfits a rich classy look. Elie Saab’s couture is nothing but dreams transformed into reality!
