Pakistan Fashion Week London is the premier presentation of Pakistan’s fashion industry on a western stage! The eleventh feature was held at the prestigious Lancaster Palace, London with 36 of Pakistan’s leading and emerging designers. It was a star studded event with designers such as Sana Safinaz, Maheen Khan, Sana Rahid ,Umsha by Uzma Babar, Khaas and Noor by Sadia Asad. Sana Safinaz
Sana Safinaz masters the art of designing breath taking western wear their collection featured jewel tones dipped in bold bright colors, beautifully embellished with intricate three dimentional floral bead work- every outfit told a whimsical tale- made for bold fashionistas! We were totally smitten by the ravishing ivory lamè kaftaan adorned with fancy floral embroidery! This uber chic ensemble paired with statement jewelry is perfect for a night out!
Umsha by Uzma Babar
Uzma Babar showcased her stunning bridal collection at the grand event; giving folks in London a taste of our rich heritage. With heavily embellished hand work, she gave bridal wear a twist by using a vibrant color scheme. Golds with reds and peaches or grey with powder blues and dirty greens! Nobody wants to be the cliche red bride anymore and its impressive to see how she lavishly curated these luxurious pieces. Khaas
Khaas opted to go for pastel hues and clean structured silhouettes at PFW- we spotted soft feminine laces embellished with delicate floral embroidery- sophisticated chic. With cool easy breezy colors and a feminine appeal, these outfits are a perfect example of luxury evening wear. The designers mint outfit with striking hot pink embroidery and organza bishop sleeves caught our eye- something you can totally wear on Eid. Enhance the look by styling the summery attire with sleek straight hair and a quirky pair of earrings!
