Bunto Kazmi
A living legend; Bunto Kazmi is the queen of bridals. This season; the design guru chose to switch up her signature bridal looks for a more contemporary capsule collection! Showcasing designs we’ve never seen before- Bunto created looks that were traditional yet current; with the use of rich color schemes including teals mixed with electric blues and dull golds to fuchsia pinks and canary yellows. The designer stepped away from traditional reds and fashioned elegant; sophisticated ensembles that we adored by all!
Faiza Samee
Popular for her use of vivid colors mixed with old world hand work Faiza Samee is a designer who is all about incorporating culture into her work. Taking inspiration from central Asian landscapes- utilizing ethnic Turkic cuts and vintage Russian chintz to create exotic block prints and hand made embroideries for this collection. We loved how the designer used muted color schemes of shimmery golds and silvers highlighted with cranberry reds and shades of saffron! We’ve got our eyes on Faiza Samee’s elegant angharka complete with floral printed lehnga!
Ideas by Gul Ahmed
Ideas by Gul Ahmed definitely turned up the heat on Day 2 of the fashion extravaganza! Using rich shades of idigo blue and classic whites the design house brought a whole new meaning to luxury pret! From ultra modern silhouettes to unique imagery we’re absolutely crushing on this totally glamorous collection. Ideas by Gul Ahmed created wearable items of clothing that can be mixed and matched and worn in the real world- whether it’s their jeweled coat or oriental printed pants- each look was truly inspired!
