PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week completed with some uber chic looks being strut down the catwalk; day 3 witnessed the likes of Ali Xeeshan, Asifa & Nabeel, Sana Safinaz and So Kamal showcasing an eclectic mix of runway looks that absolutely blew us away.

Ali Xeeshan
Ali Xeeshan showcased his ‘Victory’ collection at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week’s Luxury Prêt segment. We loved the concept behind the designers collection- telling success stories of the ones who found fame an fortune outside the hallowed halls of high school; an inspiring note to build a collection on. Ali Xeeshan toned down the theatrics and truly showed his quirky designer side with this line- staring at the drool worthy three dimensional embellishments; we loved how each look was exuberant yet sophisticated. A mix of traditional ethnic elements incorporated into contemporary clean cut silhouettes; ‘Victory’ was truly a treat to see!
Asifa & Nabeel
Design duo Asifa and Nabeel debuted their ‘Seraphine’ luxury pret collection- a clean, elegant and feminine line with tonnes of fabric manipulation that we couldn’t get enough of. From pleats to frills and scalloped finishings- the designers created looks that were made for the woman of today. We’ve got our eyes on their off white look with organza ruffled sleeves and unique azaar pants! A special shout out to the designers for continuing with a single color palette throughout the show; giving us a refreshing change from all the summer hues we’re used to seeing!
Sana Safinaz
Bringing back the glitz and glam of yesteryear- Sana Safinaz ‘Chateau Marmont’ was a beautiful array of graceful cuts, rich jewel toned colors and drop dead gorgeous hand made embellishments. All about old world charm- the collection was modern yet understated rendering these looks timeless and stunning. Their romantic white look with dramatic ruffles and contrasting delicate pink floral ornamentation was both artistically made and aesthetically pleasing. Monochrome with a pop of yellow is always a killer combination- Sana Safinaz fashioned a picture perfect look with a white cotton blend dress with black bead work and a bold canary yellow coat that took our breath away!
So Kamal
Appearing for the first time at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week- So Kamal debuted ‘Mughal Sway’- much like it’s name the collection drew inspiration from the rich culture of the mughal era. With mughal motifs and imagery incorporated in the form of digital print- each piece was brought to life with the use of contemporary silhouettes; making this collection a lovely fusion of east meets west. From geometric chevrons to embroidered flowers on soft silks, chiffon and lawn ‘Mughal Sway’ had a little something for everyone. A versatile collection that speaks to each woman’s individual style.
