Amir Adnan’s ‘An Ode to Heritage’ at QHBCW was truly an outstanding show- inspired by generations of culture and heritage presenting dapper ensembles in monochrome color schemes combined with intricate embroideries, creating the perfect blend of simplicity and elegance. The collection paid homage to traditional, old rich values with a story and history following cuts and styles that have remained timelessly classic over the years. The collection also displayed bright sorbet shades of bridal-wear exclusively done by Huma Adnan to compliment the dapper menswear collection. We instantly fell in love with their dull ivory bridal worn by Nadia Hussain- a traditional gharara paired with a heavily worked short shirt and a gorgeous embroidered dupatta. Who says only women can wear vibrant colors? The men’s turquoise jamawaar waistcoat is giving us major summer mehndi vibes! We absolutely Love how it is paired with a chikan kaari kurta and straight pajama; you definitely need such an outfit for excessive dancing at mehndis! The brands Maha Raja look was absolutely killer with a subtle white sherwani adorned with gorgeous jewels and paired with a sky blue turban. For all those boys who do not have a keen interest in wearing an embellished over the top sherwani, this ones is ideal for you! Sadaf Kanwal, the ultimate beauty icon, also the show stopper for the night set the ramp on fire in Amir Adnan’s magnificent ivory bridal. This had to be our favorite look of the night. How stunning is the embellished hand-worked salmon pink dupatta? Just a simple pastel accessory added oomph to the entire outfit! So ladies and gents Amir Adnan won our hearts yet again- check out the exclusive pictures from their show at Q Mobile Hum-Bridal Couture Week below!
