Fahad Hussayn
Fahad Hussayn swept the ramp with gorgeous bridals in shades of gold with pops of candy pinks, yellows, blue and red! We loved the intricately hand worked silver embroideries and the lush dupattas with a nice sheen- exuding a soft yet majestic appeal! The bridal with a combination of a candy pink gharara and a lemon yellow kameez was certainly a favourite with us; its unique colour pairing with a gleaming gold dupatta made for a stand out piece. The collection is a true depiction of Iranian influences and folklore relaying a sense of mystical elegance especially with the usage of sensual organzas, net, tissue and hand painted prints! A round of applause for talented Mr Fahad Hussayn!

Each and every piece was the epitome of tradition, culture and vibrancy. We loved them all!
Umsha by Uzma baber
Umsha by Uzma Baber always manages to steal our hearts. This time round the designer showcased her newest collection ‘Forever’- a beautiful range of reds contrasted with muted tones. The silhouettes were lavish and trendy with a selection of lengha choli’s, gharara’s and peplums. Each piece was heavily adorned with opulent silver and gold embroideries on pretty nets and chiffons! And the cast of “chalay thay saath” as the show stoppers made for an uber entertaining show- Syra’s outfit was absolutely lovely with a mix of orange and red prettily hand worked on a simple silhouette for a clean and elegant visual! Well done Uzma Baber the range scored a hundred percent for its cultural relevance with the perfect mix of traditional techniques with contemporary elements.
