The Lux style awards were a flood of fashion styles and statements and our two favorite beauties Mahira Khan and Ayesha Omar as always set themselves apart from the rest! Both beauties looked absolutely stunning at the event, from their beautiful makeup to statement shoes, elegant jewelry to fabulous gowns and of course stylists included in this epic fashion face off! So, who wore what better?
First we have style maven Ayesha Omar who chose to go Va Va Voom with her spectacular and impactful black and gold Tena Durrani gown paired with statement Giuseppe Zanotti heels, everything about this look was outstanding. Ayesha was styled by one of her favorite designers Tena Durrani and makeup maestro Nabila. Wearing a shoulder bearing gold sequence top and black waterfall skirt with a modern take on 1920’s style hair and jewelry by famous Indian designer Isharya, we could not stop obsessing over this gleaming beauty’s guise! Nabila as usual created a flawless face on Ayesha, using mostly nudes to accentuate the stars sharp cheek bones and jawline with sultry shades of brown on her eyes for a soft yet alluring appearance!
The ever exquisite Mahira Khan donned a an elegant soft pink statement peplum gown by Shahira Lasheen- opting for a classicly feminine yet impactful appeal! Styled by famous celebrity stylist Maneka Harisinghani her hair in soft wavy curls and her dainty feel fitted with sparkly Christian Louboutin heels to add to the fairy-tale effect of her dress. She completed her look with some precious diamond earrings and bracelet by Kiran Fine Jewellery for that extra bling! Celebrity makeup artist Omayr Waqar chose to do a light smoky eye paired with soft contour on her cheek bones and pastel pinks on the apples of her cheeks finished off with a nude pink Tom Ford lipstick- keeping Mahira’s girl next door persona alive!
Although both stunners looked incredible in their own unique ways, there were a significant amount of similarities in their appearances for the night. Both stars went for soft curls in open side swept hair styles, peplum style flowing gowns and soft smoky makeup. We must say Ayesha Omar’s Giuseppe Zanotti’s stole the high heel game that night with her shoes being the highlight of the evening. On the other hand Mahira Khan focused on dainty pastel hues and the sheer volume of her dress to intensify her look. We can’t wait to see what they’ll be wearing this time next year!
