The house of Kamiar Rokni has wowed us again with a tradition meets contemporary luxury line, which they also showcased at London Fashion Week as part of the Fashion DNA program. Clean cuts, neutral tones with pops of pink and blue, gorgeous traditional fabrics, and various craft techniques defined their new collection. Consistently elegant and luxurious, they have used befitting materials such as organza, karandi, jamawar and tissue! Along with beautiful and lush fabric, the broad silhouettes and different styles of jackets, pant suits, flared trousers and layered shirts, give a modern yet refined aesthetic to the outfits. We love that they stayed true to tradition and culture with prints and the gorgeous hand work embellishments that gave the collection a surge of opulence and class. The House of Kamiar Rokni is without doubt the perfect design house to go to for luxurious, modern and elegant ensembles!

As the opening designer for day 3, Khaadi Khaas fascinated us with a unique and refreshing theme. We loved the contrast of bright colours and monochromatic tones with sudden pops of neon and most of all the combination of solid and semi-transparent fabrics- which beautifully represented the title of this collection “Translucent”. The contrast of material and the vibrant colour palette stood out with the sharp angular cuts and silhouettes of the outfits, giving it a tailored, yet fun feel to the collection. The Swarovski crystals, pearls and acrylics were the highlights of the capsule adding just the right amount of glamour and sparkle to the lovely silks, organzas and hand-woven fabrics. This season Khaadi Khaas has definitely amped up the luxe feel to their clothing line

As Zonia Anwaars models walked the ramp they gave off a relaxed and off-beat vibe in their over-sized tunics, 70’s sleeves, and bootleg pants! We were in awe of the gorgeous and intricate cross stitch patterns that were inspired from modern Ukrainian art. The remarkable detail in amalgamation with a very distinct color palette of Navy blue, Antique white, classic tan dazzled the senses and gave an element of eclectic chic to the collection. More over the floral prints and the hand embellished motifs added the spring/summer effect, transporting one instantly to balmy summer nights.
