“Our holiday in Paris was the perfect combination of historical exploration and great city life! From the buzzing night life to the imperialistic architecture the city holds tonnes of inspiration and one understands why it has been a hub of artistic talent for centuries. For me the city became a exciting exploration of the city was a source of immense pleasure and hence it will always be a reminder of sheer happiness!!
For me, the most exciting part of any holiday is indulging in copious amounts of local cuisine, the charm of Parisian gastronomical cafés and delicacy of French patisseries greatly added to our experience! The trendy neighbour hood of Saint Germain had the most wonderful resteraunts featuring surprisingly modern and overwhelmingly delicious gastronomical delights! My most favourite were Semilla and Ze Kitchen Galerie! The most exciting experience was a meal at Pierre Sang’s restaurant which presented a 7 course surprise meal that left us guessing each ingredient! I was particularly in love with the old world Parisian atmosphere and the happening vibe at the Hotel Costes resteraunt, an old favourite of Hollywood royalty and French socialites!
The head quarters of French fashion coupled with the Euro at a low and very helpful VAT returns, shopping in Paris was a surprising treat!! Le Bon Mâché, Printemps and Gallerie Lafayette were great locations to find all the brands under one roof!
A must visit on my list was the Chanel store in Paris with the season’s latest collection in store, who could ask for more!
The treasures of the Louvre surely make it the foremost art museum in the world! The most recognised symbol of Paris is the Eiffel Tower but the ultimate travellers prize is the Louvre!
Isn’t it beautiful!
