The Wardha Saleem luxury label has steadily risen to acclaim from being a pret runway audience's dream to its recent foray into bridal couture. The brand has worked hard to ready itself creatively and in an entrepreneurial context and will finally enter into luxury ready-to-wear retail with the launch of their first flagship store and bridal studio in Karachi on 10th October.

Talking about the studio space Wardha describes it as a personal translation of the brand philosophy, as such we know to expect lots of colors in the modern structural space with bird motif details thoughtfully arranged to reflect the signature aesthetic. Mughal inspired brass carvings and antique door knobs adorn the colorful walls of the interior designed by Ali Asghar Alavi.

The store will function as a retail for its pret and luxury pret lines for both eastern and western wear while bridals and formals will be available on orders via appointments with the designer. Wardha further explained the division of the pret lines to introduce a new range of digital prints on chikan and doria fabrics for cotton wear. There will also be a selection of hand block prints on cotton ready-to-wear along with original Ralli patchwork and kingri designs procured from skilled women in rural areas of interior Sindh  that have been crafted into contemporary day wear pret. For the first time the store will be retailing the Wardha Saleem for Jafferjee's digital prints as well as their in house digital print silk tunics from the 'Lotus Song' collection. The designer's coveted drape tops, embroidered capes, and printed silk saris seen on the runway will all be available at the studio/store.

Starting at a price range of Rs3,500 for cotton pret, the store aims to offer easy-to-wear affordable pret as well as luxury formals and semi-formals for occasion wear. Conveniently located in Park Lane, Clifton near 2 Swords, the store will be open for public from 10th October and definitely invites a visit to see the full variety of collections that offer some wonderful new options for ready-to-wear.
