The second annual Hum Showcase started off with a bang- with a designer line up like no other we eagerly waited for the show to start. Ready to pick our favorite looks for the summer from a list of designers that are known for upping the ante in the fashion world; including Adnan Perdesi, Hussain Rehar, Mahgul, The Pink Tree Company and Zaheer Abbas. Definitely a sight to see; every designer created fresh new looks for the season that were unique in themselves and to their signature styles. Mahgul
Known for her impeccable taste and style- this designer brought out the flower prints just in time for the summer! We witnessed a mixture of lots of layering and silhouettes that are perfect for making a statement. Whether it was her use of cool blues or draping; Mahgul brought her A-game. A special shout out goes to asymmetrical turquoise look that hit all the right notes !
Hussain Rehar
We’re already huge fans of Hussain Rehar so we knew we were in for a treat when the time came for the designer to showcase his looks- sleek silhouettes, splashes of fresh new hues and a dash of floral prints made this line up absolutely drool worthy. We’ve got our eyes on unique take on a traditional saree- Hussain paired a vivacious floral print with a an all black blouse that has us in love!
Zaheer Abbas
Zaheer Abbas had a go on an all white collection- usually a safe bet for a hit but the designer took it up a notch by adding splashes of rich crimson to the mix! The collection consisted of tons of frills and ruffles along with statement blazers and skirts; not entirely wearable for the subcontinent but definitely a range that turns heads. Adapt the his pieces separately and his bold ruffled top with distressed denim and sky high white stiletto’s- swoon!
