Zainab Chottani and Swarovski have teamed up for a breakthrough collaboration to create a dazzling haute couture collection; Petillanté, a suite of five looks incorporating more than 300,000 crystals! Entering the bridal couture preview we were met with a scenic vibe- dim blue lights, glimmering crystals and bridal gowns like no other. An array of true craftsmanship and design sense; Zainab Chottani pulled out all the stops with this collection!
Being a connoisseur of ethnic designs, the couture presentation encapsulates contemporary style, evoking spirit of romantic escapism, fit for all brides, reveling in a glamorous world of gemstones and crystals. The collection brings to life a muted and subtle color palette creating a visual treat with its play on asymmetrical lines and botanical motifs between voluminous, structured and layered silhouettes. From peplum tops and floor sweeping gharara’s to intricate hand work and three dimensional embellishments- Zainab Chottani’s collection was a true treat! Each look was a piece of art that we admired up close.
Each breath-taking garment tells it’s own story; taking inspiration from aspects of the Victorian era, botanical gardens and ethnic motifs, the ensembles have been handmade to evoke the magnificence of Swarovski crystals keeping Zainab’s signature style: grandeur, feminine and opulent.
