This weekend you can finally look forward to the release of Shehla Chatoor SS’17 lawn hitting stores nationwide on 15th July! Shot in the serene locales of Porto and Lisbon, the prints imbue rich influences from Persian textiles to Italian Pietra Dura and Mediterranean architecture. Set against a backdrop of vivid ceramic blues and pure sunshine we are loving the web of intricate colorplay in the patterns making it a perfect fit for the season!
As glorious as the scenery is in the shots, what won us over instantly is the on point styling of every one of the prints that blends flawlessly in the modern cultural setting of the campaign. Cuts flow seamlessly exuding a strong boho chic vibe that is Shehla’s forte right down to the jewellery for each look.
The designer’s gorgeous patterned silk dupattas have our hearts making it to our infinite wish list this season! Wear it like a scarf over a crisp white top or simply drape it traditionally over your lawn outfit fashioning an everlasting impression! The range consists of charming florals meshed with geometric patterns complete with trendy tassel finishings that we absolutely adore- we’ve got our eyes on the cobalt blue look featuring rich shades of maroon in the form of Spanish inspired flowers; stitched in a simple sleek silhouette with everyone’s favorite peek-a-boo sleeves making an appearance, we’ll definitely be comping this style when stitching our Shehla lawn.
