Set to exhibit on the 3rd of September, we cannot hold our horses any longer! This time the designer has introduced an exciting new range of hand blocked prints in stitched and unstitched pieces.
Traditional and quirky motifs inclusive of the ‘Cyprus tree’, ‘Robin Print’, ‘Hamsa’ and ‘The wedding procession’ (to name a few) are to be found in shades of white, blue, yellows, pinks and gold! The pret collection offers a range of clean design aesthetics with trending cuts and simple silhouettes. We have our eyes on the blue ‘Hair-tastic’ block print- a fun and quirky ready-to-wear cold shoulder shirt! Another favourite is the long blue and white tunic with a combination of chevron, stripes and bird block prints- a versatile piece that can be easily dressed up or dressed down! The addition of meticulous quilting and kingri (hand applique) techniques add an element of wholesome sophistication reflective of a heritage rich in artistry.
