After the first successful edition in New Delhi in September 2015, #Shaan-e-Pakistan returns with more exhibitors and partners and this time in Pakistan from March 20 – 22nd in Lahore. Shaan-e-Pakistan’s Kya Dilli Kya Lahore will be a 3 Day event consisting of musical performances by artists from India and Pakistan followed by an open Exhibition by participating designers/retailers/craftsman including Amina Sultan, Anand Khanna, BeechTree, Chapter 13, Lucknow Sey, Mina Siddique, Nine Lines, Sonia Ahuja, to name a selection of retailers. Day 3 of the event will host a celebratory fashion showcase of 16 designers from across the fashion tiers from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.
Exhibiting amongst the fine band of designers with be Mina Siddique with her latest ‘Zeenat Aman’ Collection that took Dubai by storm at the recent Boulevard One trunkshow. A true artist in her endeavor Mina Siddique’s fusion of art and fashion to create beautiful one of a kind home décor, accessories and ready to wear pieces have always wowed us. Inspired by the celebrity Zeenat Aman who is now the brand ambassador of the label; Mina Siddique’s Summer collection entitled “Redefining Beauty” brings this inspiration into meaningful expression. The collection captures the looks of a fearless and adventurous woman who is the true epitome of independence and her journey in her decade of film. Mina brings to life each of these images of Zeenat Aman on various mediums of capes, jackets, clutches, kurtas, saris and dresses through a simple expression that entails a rotring pen and canvas. Each creation is born from this simple method of sketching, adding colour and dimension that is rich and dramatic and digitally printing it to perfection as wearable art.
