What is your style mantra?
I’m classic meets quirky. I always wear outfits that compliment my body at the same time I don’t go too crazy with my look. What I do play around a lot with are my hair and shoes. I am a big believer of dressing one’s body type and knowing what looks good then experimenting within that range.

Who are some of your favorite local designers and why?
I have so many!
I love Elan’s wedding wear and luxury prêt and it’s always fun too wear their clothes. I like Sana Safinaz luxury prêt especially their tunics, gowns and their jackets! They are very well tailored and I love how they fuse their fabrics.
Nothing beats Mahgul’s textures and cuts! She has an amazing ability for silhouette and I love their wedding wear and how the clothes are always very different, fun, and offer the most original aesthetics. Another favorite is Ali Xeeshan! I love the sheer wildness in his clothes. It is so refreshing and that’s the kind of fashion you enjoy. Kamiar Rokni’s collection after collection has honestly been blowing my mind. The kind of detail that goes in their work is amazing. Sania Maskatiya is reigning as far as prêt and luxury prêt is concerned. She is one of the few designers that has truly come into her own and even drifted from her signature prints and into solids this year, which I personally found very impressive.

Who are some of your favorite international designers and why?
Every year they vary based on collections. As far as runway collections are concerned I love Dolce and Gabbana! No one makes animal print look classic as they do. I own one of their printed denim trousers and I love them. Another international favorite is Dice Kayek- It’s a Turkish brand and they do very structured pieces and dresses that have origami detailing that I really like. Giambattista Valli and Ellie Saab – I wish I can own them one day and Givenchy and Missoni have very cool stuff and I really like them as well

Your all time favorite look?
It honestly changes based on my mood! It often depends on a hairstyle I want to try or if there is an outfit that I really like I would do my entire look based on what compliments it best. I personally always prefer wearing eyeliner so a dark lid and nude lip would be my go-to look.
