When we think of winter, we think of deep, rich, solid colors, fusion modern cuts, and minimalist layered shapes. All of these things are a continuous string of design elements already aligned with Sublime by Sara Shahid’s iconic aesthetic. Therefore her flagship studio in Lahore is the perfect place to start off your winter wardrobe for the family. This season you will find in store a vast array of collection genres including Sublime by Sara, Simply Sublime, Sublime Divine, and Sublime Sparkles comprising pret wear, semi-formals, formals and bridals, and the latest addition, kids wear.
Jackets and blazers are one of the season’s key style themes and Sara brings an excellent variety covering everything from the basic black blazer to fancier embroidered collars, luxury silks, and embellished chiffon kurta jackets. We have spotted Sara in a blazer and jacket formal more often than we can count, signifying her love for the style. The piece is a year round essential for all but particularly suitable for the cold when you’d like to appear smart, confident, and chic all at once.
Apart from jackets, to our delight, Sublime embraces the short kurta tunic look especially in the RTW pret department. The selection includes neat pleats, pop-out belt waists and kimono sleeve relaxed pieces in understated neutrals, contemporary stripes, and very winter appropriate animal prints to mention a few. Sara pairs these with both extremes; wide legged palazzos and straight pencil cut trousers available in store in all basic hues. Slightly more formal silk drape, bias cut tops and tunics make for an ideal red carpet or dinner appearance with the aid of some statement jewelry as modeled by Sara herself below.
The Sublime Divine collection boasts Sara’s new lace, brocade, and velvet formal occasion wear that exudes fresh glamour with its gold embellished sherwani jackets, jumpsuits, and pretty crushed dhaka pyjamas. The designer’s wedding wear pays as much attention to structured cuts as her pret wear unlike some labels where precise tailoring is replaced with oodles of embellishment. With Sublime you get a careful balance of both with the focus being on the silhouette that is enhanced by detailing rather than the other way around.
Not to make your little ones feel left out, Sublime Sparkles brings a darling collection of ghararas and banarsi ensembles for young girls especially for the winter wedding season. All this and a whole lot more is now available at the Sublime Flagship store in Lahore. For more collection pictures visit the Sublime Profile Page.
