Misha Lakhani
Misha Lakhani is a prêt-à -porter and haute couture label born out of Karachi in 2012. Driven by a celebration of craftsmanship and heritage, the brand is always looking to reinterpret the traditions of couture techniques. Expect an eclectic mix of old crafts and modern ideas.
The brand is characterized by a fusion of styles and silhouettes. Misha creates collections that are ethnic and nostalgic, but current reflecting the diverse cultures of the cities in which the designer has lived, including Boston, Madrid, New York and London. In the designer's own words, "Our clothes have a timelessness and old-world charm. When you buy our clothes, you buy a little memory of our Mughal history and various subcultures."
Misha Lakhani bridals are steeped in tradition and old world charm, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, cut and construction. The label's eveningwear is for the jet set woman on the go who needs a sophisticated choice for every occasion, where classics meet cool irreverence. The Misha Lakhani casual chic line offers elegant separates that transition effortlessly from day to night, fête to soiree. "Our design philosophy is that clothes should endure and be versatile. In just over three years since its inception, it has already secured recognition by esteemed fashion bodies and journals including nominations for best performance in the following:

Misha Lakhani launched her first retail store in Karachi in August 2012. With its rising popularity the brand expanded into a second standalone store in Lahore in 2015, and will soon also be available online.
