Rabia Wahab brings the hottest new Ready-to-Wear label in town. A graduate in Textile Design from the prestigious Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Rabia is a specialist in print. Her design philosophy revolves around Folk narratives, focusing on the Rajhastani culture from Thar which was also the focal point of her thesis.
In 2011, Rabia joined the family business, Fiction Clothing – an established family brand, recognized throughout Pakistan for its smart casual Western wear. Rabia’s first venture was to take charge of women's wear at Fiction, and expand into pret-a-porter fusion-wear. In 2016, she revamped the Fiction brand and changed the label's name to Rabia Wahab.
Her zeal for print, spurred her passion for design which led to the birth of Fiction Concepts. The collection is a depiction of all things sensual, blended within an array of multicultural influences. Working with artistic screen-printing and intricate embroideries, she brings to life modern elements in her creations using traditional embellishments and indigenous materials set in a kaleidoscope of colors. Her work is synonymous with style, confidence and elegance; qualities that resonate with women from all age brackets.
