ISLAMABAD, 4 APRIL 2013: Chashme Baddoor starring Ali Zafar premieres across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad marking the screening of David Dhawan's latest production, released by HKC Entertainment in Pakistan with PR managed by Encyclomedia PR.

The movie is a remake of Sai Paranjpe's 1981 classic, but the story is as original and charming as ever, strengthened by the simplicity of the characters, and a definite modern twist. "Chashme Baddoor', Ali Zafar's fourth Bollywood film in a lead role, is a light-hearted comic satire, which tells the story of three roommates, Sid, Jai and Omi, and Seema, the girl-next-door. The movie has been directed by David Dhawan, written by Farhad-Sajid and the screenplay is by Renuka Kunzru.

Ali Zafar highlighted, "When I saw the original Chashme Baddoor, I knew that the plot must retain its authenticity. Also, while it must have been a challenge to render it into modern times and aesthetics, David has done a brilliant job. It's a family entertainer. We are all excited about it. The film is different from the original made by Sai Sahib. My fans will see that we have attempted to keep the movie young, a little over-the-top, adapted to modern times and colored by David's sensibilities."

With a stellar cast of seasoned professionals, Chashme Baddoor is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Starring Ali Zafar as Sid, Siddharth as Jai, Divyendu Sharma as Omi and Taapsee Pannu as Seema, the story is an eclectic blend of all that the 21st century has to offer. But that is not all for Chashme Baddoor is filled with treats in the form of Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Anupam Kher, Ayaz Khan and Varun Dhawan among many others.

The event was managed by JBnJaws in Islamabad, QYT Events in Lahore and the R-team managed Karachi red carpet. The host of the Lahore red carpet was super model Natasha Hussain while popular VJ, Feroz Khan, hosted the Karachi red carpet.
