It is no mystery that while we at home continue to been thralled by traditional "˜Indian' origin fabrics and purely ethnic Subcontinent designs from across the border, our neighbors are equally if not more, in awe of Pakistani fashion that presents more innovation and creativity on the same traditional canvas. With this concept in mind "˜Braahtii' by Huma Nassr, a Pakistani brand that has gained considerable recognition in New Delhi and Dubai in particular, takes a bold step with the opening of their flagship store in New Delhi tomorrow.

With a flagship store and studio presence already established in Karachi "˜Braahtii' aims to provide fashionistas across the border with an amalgamation of tradition and subtle touches of contemporary flavours with respect to cuts. Their latest collection "˜Saadgii' focuses on bright festive colors and eastern embellishments that are highly popular in India. Huma is fond of fusing different fabric textures and prints for a unique experience therefore a combination of lace, chiffon, silk prints, and mukesh kaamdani are a prominent feature in her work.

One of the very first independent Pakistani fashion labels to open a solo store in India, we wish the brand all the best in their venture of bringing RTW formals and pret to Delhi. Braahtii will open its doors on 22nd January'14 at Greater Kailash, M34/ GK1, New Delhi.
